Die before you die

Before you were born,
you never worried about job security or money,
you never heard of things like politics or race
and you knew nothing of sex or religion.
These things did not exist for you,
before you were born.

And all of a sudden...

~ here you are ~

Where one hundred million things,
that once never existed before,
seem to be…

These many things seem terribly important.
We spend this brief moment,
accumulating and fighting over them.
Trying to hold on to them as if they were permanent,
but they all go away.
running through our fingers
faster than quicksilver mercury.

There is "nothing" that can be held onto.
There is "no - thing" that can be held onto.

Every mountain and every star eventually recede from us.
Every person and thought,
every battle you thought you had to fight,
will disappear like it was never there.
there will be no "person" to remember it
Not an inch will be held onto.

~ We come full circle ~

and return to the same place
from which we began this journey,
were none of this ever existed
and none of this ever matters.
A place where worry and failure don't exist.

What happens if you wake up to find
there is no ground below you and no ceiling above?

What could you do if you discovered there
is absolutely nothing you can hang onto?

~ Anything you want ~

You are the rising of the sun
and the setting of the moon.

Blessings on the way.
